Q: Share your testimony of when you started your relationship with Jesus Christ.
I grew up in a Christian family where my Mother and Father are strong believers in Jesus Christ. I accepted Christ when I was 7 years old, but it wasn't until October 2006, when I began having a personal relationship with Jesus. Soon after I accepted Christ I wanted to only live for Him. So I got involved with my father's ministry in Indonesia, and when we moved here to the States, my brother and I started our own ministry, Bread of Stone. But from time to time my father would say, "don't be bound with the ministry, but use the ministry as a tool for God to form you."
I never really got that until a couple years ago, when God turned my Father's advice into reality. Obviously all those years God was working on me to prepare me for Revelation 3:20. It says, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.” In October 2006, I realized that it's more than just letting Jesus into my heart, it says that He wants to have a personal, two way, relationship where He eats with me and I with Him.
Q: What is the number one thing you hope people get out of your music?
I hope people realize that true life is found in Jesus Christ, and the only way that Jesus can take over your life is for you to let go of your self.
